Em is a professionally trained hairstylist, waxer and lash technician.

They attended the full hairstyling program at Vancouver Island University early in their career - and they are fully trained in cutting and colouring hair, as well as in bridal styling.

Em joined a well-known and experienced bridal beauty team on Vancouver Island in 2022. They apprenticed under Mar Groot for a fully booked wedding season before branching out to provide bridal services on their own in early 2023. They also began working at Foxy Box as a waxer and lash technician, and have spent the last few years providing gender affirming care, and mastering their services.

Since January 2024, Em has focused on perfecting their skills in editorial / session styling - and they continue to grow - including taking on extensions and wig work.

Em is a powerful advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. They are fiercely committed to supporting and caring for queer people in beauty. Em believes that the space of beauty belongs to everyone, and their goal is to build an equitable beauty universe, as well as a successful, profitable career - so they can give back where it counts.
