Samme Gaines is a through and through creative. She is a dynamic, talented visual artist in multiple mediums - with a gift for making connection.
She is the very definition of muse.
Samme graduated from the University Of Victoria with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology - which has only helped her understand the unique leanings of those around her. She began modelling at a young age, and knows how to transform herself for the camera and the client. She emotes a raw, realness that is approachable and yet, very rare - and she is extremely fun to work with.
As a model, Samme has been featured in several online and print publications, including Heartful Magazine and Rocky Mountain Bride.
Samme’s illustration work is unique and full of flavour.
She began taking commissions in high school - and launched her online digital business - SW Creations - in 2019. From there, she built a referral-based workflow of clients in illustrative design, logo creation and website / brand development.
Samme had a little girl named Maddy in 2022 - and is now focused on being the best mom she can be alongside continuing to develop and hone her craft. She regularly takes commissions for illustrative work and has recently come back to modelling for beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands - including Bravado Designed Canada.
